1. Controller and contact

Peoply is operated by Simon Lindermeier, a private individual residing in Switzerland. For questions, access requests or deletion requests, contact simon.lindermeier@googlemail.com.

2. Data that is processed

Peoply processes only data required to operate the service or data that you select and enter yourself.

  • Account data: your email address, Apple sign-in identifier and technical account ID. Passwords, when used, are stored only as hashes through Supabase Auth.
  • CRM content: names, contact details, birthdays, roles, places, notes, interactions, tasks and events you store about other people.
  • iOS contact import: only people you select in the system picker, including their name, birthday and up to six email addresses and phone numbers per person.
  • Audio recordings: only when you use optional voice capture; recordings are transferred for transcription and then removed from app storage.

3. Optional data sources

If you connect Google, Peoply synchronizes Google Contacts and Google Calendar. Gmail content is not synchronized. Native iOS contact import uses Apple's system picker and gives Peoply no persistent access to your whole address book. Nothing is imported without your explicit selection.

4. Optional AI processing

AI features are off by default. When you enable one, the content described by that feature is transferred to OpenAI in the United States. Text requests use store:false. Contact capture may transfer contact details you approved without redaction; personal notes require an additional consent.

5. Offline storage and reminders on iOS

The iOS app keeps an account-scoped SwiftData snapshot and unsynchronized changes on your device so core content remains readable offline. Local reminders are scheduled only after you consent. Lock-screen text does not include names or conversation details by default.

6. Where data is stored

CRM data is stored with Supabase in eu-west-2 (London, United Kingdom) and restricted to your account through Row Level Security. The web app runs on Vercel in the United States, where technical request data such as IP addresses and server logs may arise. AI data is sent to OpenAI only for enabled features.

7. No advertising or tracking

Peoply shows no advertising, uses no analytics or tracking services and does not sell data. It does not link data with information from other companies for advertising or advertising measurement.

8. Your rights

Swiss data protection law applies. You may request access and correction. You can permanently delete your own account and associated data in the iOS app under More. If you can no longer sign in, or if you are a third party requesting correction or deletion, contact the operator.

9. Changes to this notice

If Peoply or its service providers change, this notice will be updated. The current version is always available at this address.
